Position Summary

About the role:

Reporting into the Registered Nurse and working as part of a multi-disciplinary team of passionate and committed health professionals and care professionals, the Enrolled Nurse will deliver high quality nursing care to support residents to meet their individual needs and preferences. This role will be based at our Andrew Kerr Care facility, based in Mornington.

With no two days being the same, you will be responsible for:

  • Administering medication, wound management, palliative care and relevant documentation
  • Contributing to assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of nursing care to ensure the best outcomes for our residents 
  • Building and maintaining supportive relationships with residents, clients and their families to strengthen relationships within the business and local community
  • Proividing support and guidance to the Personal Care Worker team to contribute to a harmonious and collegiate working environment

This is the place for you if you have:

  • Current registration with AHPRA, including medication endorsement
  • Experience as an enrolled nurse in residential aged care/ home care 
  • Demonstrated current knowledge and skills in Contemporary Aged Care Services 
  • Are customer focused, reliable and adaptable
  • Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions
  • Commitment to being part of a workplace culture based on the BEST way of life (Believe, Excel, Support and Trust)
  • Are willing to work within the ethos of the Uniting Church

You will need:

  • A current Working With Children’s Check
  • Full Australian working rights
  • A current Police Records Check or be willing to undertake this process 
  • A current flu vaccination and be prepared to meet this annual requirement
