Position Summary

Learning and Development Business Partner

  • 10 month Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover) based in Melbourne's CBD

About the role:

In close collaboration with the Learning and Development Director and team, you will design and implement learning programs that maximize individual and team capability and support high standards of consumer directed service delivery.

  • Collaborate within the Learning & Development team and the organization to identify learning needs for current and future work requirements
  • Scope and develop learning & development programs and training materials in response to changing needs and emerging priorities (for online and face to face)
  • Partner with the organization to provide expert advice and recommendations for strategies to support cultural change and build capability
  • Facilitating an annual schedule to coordinate our workshops and training programs
  • Develop L&D programs to support recruitment pipelines

About you:

Are you passionate about the development and delivery of face to face learning content. Do you have experience in the use of Articulate, RISE or Vidversity and love developing online programs? Do and want to make a difference in the lives of our residents/clients, to support them to live life to their full potential.

This is the place for you if you have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in education, human resources and / or organizational development
  • Excellent computer literacy including medium to advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Extensive experience in developing and implementing best practice learning and development programs using innovative strategies aligned to organizational requirements
  • Experience in developing, facilitating and evaluating learning & development programs
  • Experience in the use of Totata, Articulate, RISE or Vidversity systems highly regarded
  • A commitment to being part of a workplace culture based on the BEST way of life (Believe, Excel, Support and Trust)
  • Enjoy working as part of a team
  • A willingness to work within the ethos of the Uniting Church

You will need:

  • A current Working With Children’s Check (VIC) (or willing to obtain one)
  • Full Australian working rights and a current police records check (or be willing to undertake this process)
  • A current flu vaccination and be prepared to meet this annual requirement
